A little bit of information you might want to know about BC North...
Burlington County North Info
The Burlington County North chapter
of Quixote Quest was founded in 2007. The qlub's color is purple, and their mascot is a donkey named "Hodi."
Burlington County North Qore Members
The Qore is a new leadership movement within Quixote Quest. Instead of having a single leader, each
club will have a team of leaders working together to make the club the best it can be.
Jen, Sami, and Stephanie have all signed on to be part of the Qore!
The BC North Qore meets after every meeting from 8:30-9:00, and all of the Qores get together once a month, usually on
a Sunday.
If you're interested in joining the Qore, talk to Sam or Lauren for more information.
Are you a QQ Extremer?
An Extremer is a member who, in addition to his/her volunteer service,
also attends:
- 80% of all Quarter Meetings,
- 50% of all GSPs
- 100% of our Special Events (Volunteer Fair, QQ Thanksgiving, and
Finale).
This is a special distinction that is recognized at our Finale every year.
If you join QQ partway through the year, don't worry, you're still eligible to be an Extremer.
Just meet the above requirements for all Quarter Meetings, GSPs, and Special Events from the date you joined the club.
QQ Ceremonies
Qrewed Ceremony - Initiation
of a new member into the club with the symbolic lighting of a candle, signing of the QQ table, and acceptance of
the Qode.
One cool fact about this ceremony is that every
member ever "Qrewed" in QQ has signed the same ceremonial table. New members really have to search to find a place
to sign where no one else has signed before!

Sqarf Ceremony - This is the celebration of a member reaching his/her
first 100 hours of volunteering. The member is "sqarfed" by the last member to reach 100 hours.
In addition, each qrew member gives the sqarfee a "Toqen."
Toqens are small gifts of little or no cost that show the sqarfee how much he/she means to the club. After
this ceremony, the member officially joins the Golden Qrew.
